Can supplement nutrients that are deficient in diet? Why preventive medical experts do not recommend taking vitamins

One third of Americans often take comprehensive vitamins, and think that this can live longer and reduce the risk of cancer and cardiovascular disease. Even healthy people think that they can supplement nutrients that are lacking in three meals.
Everyone thinks that comprehensive vitamins are safe. However, the United States Preventive Services Task Force does not recommend that everyone eat it because there is no sufficient evidence to prove that it is beneficial for healthy adults.
Trisha Pasricha, a professor at Harvard Public Health School, said that many large-scale studies have proven that healthy eating can improve physical health, such as reverse cardiovascular disease and reducing cancer risks. If your diet is unhealthy or your nutrition is unbalanced, it is not something that can be obtained by vitamins.
Many studies have pointed out that nutritional supplements such as vitamins cannot achieve the effect of balanced diet. It may be because of the health benefits of balanced diet, not one or two or even many vitamins "depletion". No nutritional supplements are not the "original appearance" of nutrition, but are derived from natural essence.
Comprehensive vitamins are not a project under the regulations and management of pharmacies, so the differences between products of different brands may be very large. Generally speaking, a certain ratio of daily demand for various vitamins and minerals, such as some brands contain 70% of daily demand for vitamin C, while some brands have up to 200%.
If you are healthy, do you really need to "replenish" 200% vitamin C? Almost no clinical trial report has been submitted to answer this question.
However, taking vitamins for gender and age groups is a reasonable consideration. For example, the comprehensive vitamins suitable for young women, the leaf acid and iron content may be improved, because a lot of menstruation is eliminated, which can help pregnancy.
If you take various nutrient supplements every day, it is best to read the ingredients description in detail. Do not add any nutrients to the head. People who smoke should especially avoid beta carotene with a combined vitamin exceeding 20 mg (mg) per day to avoid increasing the risk of lung cancer.
