Don t rush to shave coffee grounds! Simple processing and these 5 hidden versions are used

There are many coffee shops in the streets and alleys. Most of the coffee grounds that have been brewed are thrown into the garbage can. In fact, they have quite a lot of functions. Most shops are happy to provide unused coffee grounds, so you might as well collect this free resource to reduce garbage and make a great use!

Wang Yuwen, assistant professor at the Department of Agricultural Sciences and Research Institute in Taiwan, known as "Coffee Doctor", said that the most common use of coffee grounds is to deodorize in a cigarette ashtray. Because coffee beans are roasted, their body size is at least 10% more than raw beans, and the gaps inside become larger, so they become porous structures, which can produce moisture absorption and adsorbing flavor effects.

But before using coffee grounds, the first thing to do is dry, you can use exposure, oven or microwave.

The most convenient way to dry coffee grounds is to deodorize or dehydrate. Housekeeper Chen Yingru pointed out that you can put 6-centi-filled coffee grounds in a plastic bag and poke some holes, and then put the whole bag under the cabinet, sink, etc. When the coffee grounds are a little broken or even moldy, then change them; in addition, when used in deodorizing in refrigerators or cars, use a pudding box to store them, put a layer of napkin paper on them, and then use a rubber band to tighten them, so you don’t have to worry about the problem of overturning.

Wang Yuwen is supplemented, especially after the decoration of the new home, it will have a strong paint smell. Compared with pear skin and watermelon peel absorbing the smell, if used instead, it will not cause worms, cockroaches, and mice, and will not affect the hygienic coffee grounds, and will also emit a faint fragrance. It can be said that it is a better choice.

However, if you place coffee grounds in the cabinet, remember to be replaced regularly around weekly, and if it is placed in the car (high temperature environment) or refrigerator (low temperature environment), it is not easy to have mold problems.

Many people also use rough coffee grounds to scrub their hands, trays, and utensils to achieve a cleansing effect. Chen Yingru shared that after adding the soap to microwave and soften, add coffee grounds and then shaping it, it becomes a coffee soap that has both coffee aroma and exfoliation.

There have also been coffee shops sharing their experiences that they would soak the coffee grounds in water and take them to wash their heads. They are used as natural dyes. The dyed hair color is yellow-brown, but because it fades quickly, it needs to be washed every day to maintain the hair color.

Wang Yuwen emphasized that no matter what purpose the coffee grounds are used for, they can be made into organic compost in the end. Many people plant flowers, plants and even organic vegetables at home. What they worry about most when making organic compost at home is its strange flavor, which causes mosquitoes, but coffee grounds feed compost grown by earthworms, will not have such problems at all.
