Shengyang semiconductors spend 4.379 billion yuan to expand production capacity, and the monthly production capacity of regenerated crystals in 2026 reaches 1.2 million pieces

Regenerative crystalline dragon head manufacturer Shengyang Semiconductor announced on the 1st that the board of directors has officially accelerated the expansion of regenerative crystalline capacity through the capital expenditure case of NT$4.379 billion.
Shengyang Semiconductor pointed out that due to the rapid increase in demand for AI and advanced processes, Shengyang Semiconductor plans to boost production capacity. In 2025, the production capacity will be increased from the original 800,000 films per month to 850,000 films, and in 2026, it will be significantly revised from the original 950,000 films to 1.2 million films, showing the company's ability to synchronize with global key customer technology and growth rhythm. This capital expenditure will be implemented in stages, and advanced production lines will be continuously built from the second half of 2025, and the expansion plan is expected to be completed by the end of 2026.

Shengyang Semiconductor Executive Director Cai Xingchuan said that the demand for AI and high-efficiency computing drive has been fully launched. The demand for advanced processes in the previous period and advanced packaging in the later period has increased rapidly. The supply chain is facing the double challenge of technological upgrades and production capacity expansion. This capital expenditure symbolizes the consistency between our customer growth and customer growth, and also shows the determination of Shengyang's semiconductors to continuously deepen their technical services and support capabilities.
This investment will focus on technological innovation, the construction of high-level application-oriented production lines, automatic upgrading and yield optimization, and will introduce AI intelligent manufacturing technology, including advanced defect detection, automatic parameter control and predictive maintenance systems, to enhance process stability and production efficiency. Through continuous technological upgrades and flexible expansion capabilities, Shengyang semiconductors will strengthen their key position in global regeneration wafers, advanced processes and advanced packaging supply chains.
