Chiesa: Messi is the GOAT and Maldini is the GOAT of Italy; playing with Ronaldo is a dream come true

Chiesa, who currently plays for Liverpool, recently accepted an interview with Sky Sports. During the program, he answered several questions raised by fans online, including his favorite moment after signing for Liverpool, his personal GOAT, etc.

Q: What is your favorite moment since signing for Liverpool?

Chiesa: Win the Premier League title. It was very special because it was my first league title, even though I didn't play a lot last season. But to win it at Liverpool, to win it for Liverpool, to play with great players - it's fantastic. Even though I wasn't involved much, I'm happy to win this trophy.

Q: How valuable is this championship in your career?

Chiesa: The European Cup champion must be ranked first. It is amazing to win the national team. Then the title with Juventus, and after that the Premier League.

Q: Who is the best player you have ever played against?

Chiesa: Messi.

Host: Is he the greatest player of all time to you?

Chiesa: Yes. I remember my second Champions League game for Juventus - at home against Barcelona. I play with Ronaldo. So I have to say Messi, but it would also be great to play with Cristiano Ronaldo. They are two legends. Honestly, Messi is the greatest football player of all time.

Q: Who do you think is the best winger in the world right now?

Chiesa: Salah, Yamal, Rafinha.

Moderator: Is it difficult to choose one?

Chiesa: I would say Yamal. For a player of his age to be so precise and do the right thing at the right moment - unbelievable. Technique, dribbling, technique - world class. But his decision-making is what stands out for his age. That's why he is one of the best players in the world right now.

Talk about Salah

Chiesa: Salah is an outstanding world-class player. He has proven for many years in the Premier League that this league is too difficult. He took one touch straight into the top corner on Saturday - which shows how good he is.

Q: Do you have pets?

Chiesa: Yes, I have two poodles.

Host: Is one of them named Marlon Brando?

Chiesa: No, that was my previous dog - an Australian Shepherd. I gave it to my mother as a gift. I live in an apartment and it's too big. Now it's in Florence. I randomly named Marlon Brando - it had nothing to do with the movie.

Q: What is your favorite movie?

Chiesa: "Interstellar". I like the universe and science. I didn't get good grades when I was a student, but I liked it.

Q: What does it feel like to have the club’s best fan chant?

Chiesa: It was a little awkward at first - they were singing for people who weren't playing. But I'm grateful. Then I started playing and scoring goals, and it made sense. The support from the fans has been amazing. I am very happy and honored to play for such a group of fans.

Host: You seem to have a great relationship with the fans.

Chiesa: This is what you would expect. I played less games last season, but the support from the fans gave me more reason to give more every day. They love me because I give it my all every time I step on the court - and I show it.

Host: Do you sing this song at home?

Chiesa: My wife sometimes sings it to me. The players also sang it when I arrived in the morning - just to make fun of me. Even my wife sings at home. I said: "Stop it."

Q: Is it acceptable to add pineapple to pizza?

Chiesa: I don’t like it, but it doesn’t matter to me if others choose it. If they like it, I'm fine with it. I personally find it unpalatable.

Host: What is your dream pizza?

Chiesa: Margarita with prosciutto.

Q: Can I drink cappuccino after 12 noon?

Chiesa: Yes. This isn't usually the case in Italy, but I don't care. Cappuccino is better for breakfast, but sometimes I drink half a cup before a game because I like milk. Drink if you want.

Q: Who is on the “President’s Hill” of Italian football?

Chiesa: Maldini, Baggio, Buffon, Pirlo.

Q: The greatest Italian player of all time?

Chiesa: I think Maldini - because of everything he won. Some might say Baggio because of his skills.

Q: Who was your idol when you were a child?

Chiesa: Kaka. My father and I watched AC Milan and fell in love with him.

Q: If you didn’t play football, what would you do?

Chiesa: I will continue to study in college. I studied exercise science but dropped out. I'd take physics - I'm interested in the universe.

Q: Who is the most famous person in the mobile address book?

Chiesa: Ronaldo.

Host: How is he off the court?

Chiesa: Sculpture-like figure - very good. Fantastic player, one of the greats. Playing with him is a dream come true.

Host: Are you still in contact with him?

Chiesa: No, I don't want to disturb him.

Q: What’s one thing we don’t know about Chiesa?

Chiesa: I sometimes cook at home. My wife doesn't like cooking, so I do. I can make scrambled eggs just fine, as can a cheese and ham omelette. I can make pasta with ready-made sauce.

Chiesa described his new teammate

Ekitic in one word: Skilled. He adapted to the intensity of the Premier League so quickly. The technology is very good.

Issac: Deadly. He knows how to score goals - and he'll prove it.

Kelleher: Intensity. He does everything 100%.

Frimpong: Quick. One of the fastest people in the first few meters.
