All proceeds will be used for charity. Liverpool official: Liverpool will host the Legends Match with Dortmund on March 28

Liverpool officially announced that it will hold a legendary match with Dortmund, which will be held at Anfield on March 28. The two teams are closely linked by the famous team anthem "You'll Never Walk Alone" and former coach Jurgen Klopp, and this game will be another special event.

This game has been nearly ten years since their last duel in the 2016 Europa League quarter-finals. At that time, the Red Army staged an epic comeback to defeat Dortmund 4-3 at Anfield, and eventually advanced with a total score of 5-4.

All proceeds from this game will be used for charity. The previous nine legendary games held at Anfield have raised more than 9 million pounds of vital funds, benefiting many people in the Liverpool city region and internationally. In the 2024-25 season, the Liverpool Foundation will help more than 145,000 people through health, learning and employment programmes, which is its highest figure to date.

Liverpool Legends’ coaching staff and player roster will be announced in the coming weeks and months for the match, which is organized by the Liverpool Foundation in partnership with Forever Reds, the club’s official former players association.
