Intel has started major cuts again, Israel s Kiryat Gat factory closed

Oregon Live and CTech reported that Intel began to scale up staff on the 7th, affecting US and Israeli employees. The layoffs may affect thousands of employees, but Intel has not yet disclosed the number of layoffs or how long it will last.

Intel has notified the staff of the Grind Foundry Department to reduce the reduction by 15% to 20%, involving thousands of positions. Intel also planned to close the car department and cut most of its employees. Last year, Intel Orega sanctions cut about 3,000 positions, and the layoffs are about the same.
