A 16-year-old Shiba Inu died from a brain tumor that worsened. His mother burst into tears when she came home to see the sad scene.
The 16-year-old Shiba Inu "Rouwan" at home has been paralyzed for a year and often suffers from epilepsy. The veterinarian estimated that the dog had a brain tumor, but because he was too old, he did not encourage Rouwan to have an examination, so he had to provide Rouwan with palliative care. Recently, Meatball's condition worsened, and the veterinarian recommended that the dog be euthanized. The mother struggled for a long time, but even though she was reluctant to let go, she finally accepted the suggestion. On the day Rouwan passed away, her mother prepared the dog's medicine as usual. When she turned around and saw the sad scene in front of her, she realized that the dog was no longer there, and she burst into tears instantly.
Rouwan arrived at home when she was one month old and was given to her by her husband: "Rouwan has a very stubborn character but is also very docile. He has been with me for nearly 17 years. We have experienced many ups and downs in life together." The handsome Rouwan is deeply loved by the family.

The aging Rouwan is inseparable from the fate of the old dog. After injuring his feet a few years ago, his body began to age, and problems such as epilepsy and vestibular system began to appear one after another. Later, he became completely paralyzed. The veterinarian speculated that there was a tumor in the meatball's brain, but because it was too old, it was not recommended for the dog to undergo an examination. It only provided palliative care and used drugs to control the condition. Later, Meatball's condition deteriorated rapidly and he would moan in pain at night. The veterinarian said that the dog's life was not long and suggested euthanasia.
My mother couldn't bear it and struggled for a long time, and finally chose to accept the veterinarian's advice: "I don't want to see it in pain all the time. Every time Rouwan has an epileptic seizure, I can only watch it suffer and cannot help it relieve it." On the day Rouwan left, her mother prepared medicine for her dog at night as usual, completely forgetting that it had passed away. When she turned around and saw the sad moment in front of her eyes, she remembered everything and burst into tears.
Rouwan’s mother said that after the dog left, she would still feel guilty about euthanasia: "But I thought about it later and realized that this decision was actually the best for Rouwan. It has not smiled for a long time since it became ill. I will slowly get used to the days when it is not around me. If there is another life, I hope that Rouwan can come back and be my family. I will love him forever."
