Couple drove for 4 days and 3 nights just to adopt an orange cat
Bethy Campbell and Pasey Pettitt, a young couple in Washington, saw the "Slave Hunting Revelation" on the Internet one day. The orange cat Muffin in the photo had experienced the shadow of being abandoned, but has now returned to its former cheerfulness and is waiting to be re-adopted. The couple originally wanted to get an orange cat, and Muffin loves to be coquettish and cuddled, which suited their hearts. Without a word, they drove 3,500 miles to Iowa to adopt him!
When Bethy and Pasey saw Muffin's photo on the Internet, they immediately knew "this is it." Although Muffin was in a very remote state of Iowa, driving about 3,500 miles from Washington, they didn't care. After a long drive of four days and three nights, they finally arrived at the halfway house. As soon as they entered the door, Muffin rubbed the couple very enthusiastically, which made them more sure that their decision was right.
While taking care of Muffin, Helmers was moved by the couple. Few people would be willing to adopt a cat and drive for such a long time without any conditions. When they came to visit another state, "They have no relatives or friends here, and they didn't stop by to find someone. They came here specifically to take Muffin home!" Therefore, she specially set aside a small room so that the tired couple could have a good sleep and be full of energy to take their new member home the next day.
