First, clean dust removal.
It is best to use pure cotton knitted fabrics as rags and wipe the surface of iron furniture. For dust in depressions on furniture and in relief patterns, it is best to use a fine soft wool brush to remove dust.
Second, avoid bumps.
The iron frame should be placed carefully during the transportation process; the place where the iron frame should be placed should be a place where hard objects do not often touch; once the place is selected, it should not change frequently; the ground where the iron frame should be placed should also be kept flat so that the four legs of the furniture can be stable and flat. Acid and alkali that corrodes iron. If the iron rack is accidentally stained with acid (such as sulfuric acid, vinegar) and alkali (such as methyl alkali, soapy water, soda water), rinse the dirt with clean water immediately and wipe dry with a dry cotton cloth.
Third, eliminate rust.
If the iron frame is rusted, do not use sandpaper to make it your own initiative. If the rust is smaller and lighter, you can use cotton yarn to dip in machine oil to apply it on the rust. Wait for a while and wipe it with a cloth to remove the rust. If the rust has expanded and become heavier, relevant technicians should be asked to repair it.
Fourth, isolate the moisture. The humidity in the room should be maintained within the normal value. Furniture should be kept away from humidifiers, as moisture will cause rust in the metal, chrome plating will cause film removal, etc. During major cleaning, avoid using boiling water to clean the iron rack. Use a wet cloth to wipe it, but do not rinse it with running water.
Fifth, stay away from the sun.
The iron frame is placed in the location, it is best to avoid direct sunlight outside the window. The iron frame will discolor the paint color when exposed to sunlight for a long time; the colored paint layer will dry and crack and peel off, and the metal will oxidize and deteriorate. If you are unable to remove the furniture when you encounter strong sunlight, you can use curtains or blinds to cover it.
