Carpet cleaning and maintenance
Carpets are high-end and vulnerable products and need to be carefully maintained during use. It is necessary to carry out correct and regular maintenance of the carpets. Simple carpet maintenance includes: regular and regular cleaning, surface cleaning and periodic wet wash, which will ensure that your carpet looks as new as it was when paved.
【1】Vacuum cleaning
Vacuum cleaning is the most basic task of carpet maintenance and must be carried out every day. It is best to suck each part twice. The first time is to suck it against the carpet stuffing. Although it is strong, it can suck it thoroughly. The second time is to suck it along the carpet stuffing, which can restore the original sucking direction to avoid sucking the pile disorder and cause the color difference of the carpet. It should be emphasized that no matter how many times the carpet vacuum is performed, the last time must be sucked in the direction of the pile.
Vacuum cleaning in public areas should be done using vacuum cleaners with rotary stuffed vibrators for daily vacuum cleaning. The vibrator usually includes one or more brush strips, which can more effectively remove dust from surfaces or hidden blankets. Starting from the day of use, we must vacuum the carpet thoroughly every day. We must not have the idea of thoroughly sucking it tomorrow. Once the dust settles and accumulates, it is difficult to remove it in daily vacuuming.
Carpets are wool textiles, and after the back-track velvet-shearing process, it is normal for a small amount of floating hair and velvet-shearing head to appear when used. Therefore, new carpets should be vacuumed twice a day, once in the morning and evening, and the floating hair phenomenon will be eliminated after one month.
【2】Carpet Cleaning
Regular cleaning of carpets in different areas can restore the original appearance of the carpet and extend its service life. There are two basic methods for cleaning carpets: dry cleaning and wet cleaning. Regardless of the method of washing the carpet, it is only suitable for professionals with good vocational training to do this job.
(1) Dry cleaning, there are two methods for dry cleaning of carpets:
Foam dry cleaning
is the most common type of carpet surface foam cleaning. The foam dry cleaning machine uses a rotary brush and an implantable wet vacuum suction head to spray a large amount of detergent on the carpet surface. Under the action of the rolling brush, the detergent cleans the stuffing and uses a vacuum and water suction machine to suck away the washing foam and suspended dust.
Dry extraction and removal method
This method is to spray a mixture of solvent, emulsifier, water and detergent on the surface of the carpet by manual or dispensing container, and brush it into the carpet pile by a washing equipment for rotary washing for 30 minutes before sucking away the lotion and dust.
Dry cleaning is a surface cleaning, which can effectively restore the surface of the carpet to clean, but does not remove the dirt hidden deep in the carpet. It must be cleaned thoroughly.
(2) Wet wash
The oil and other sticky substances in the carpet are obviously gathered, and the dust and dirt gathering has affected the color of the carpet and the resilience of the carpet, and the dry cleaning method cannot be eradicated, the carpet should be wet-washed, that is, thorough cleaning.
There are two methods for wet cleaning carpets:
Spray and suck cleaning method: This method is to spray hot water and detergent onto the carpet under pressure. Under the action of water and detergent, use a carpet washing equipment equipped with a rotating or oscillating brush to separate the dirt from the fibers and suck it away.
Steam cleaning method: This is a carpet cleaning method that has a very good effect in removing dirt inside the carpet and dirt on the surface, and is the most thorough in washing. Also known as extraction and cleaning method. A steam solvent composed of a water released by a special steam dry cleaning carpet machine mixed with a cleaning solution is sprayed on the carpet, and then agitated by a mechanical swing brush to remove the dirt from the carpet fiber and suspend it in the solvent and be removed by an implanted vacuum tip.
