Singapore stock market opened on Wednesday and fell 0.41%

U.S. stocks fell across the board overnight, investors' risk aversion sentiment heated up, and local stock markets opened on Wednesday (June 18).

As of 9:05 a.m., the Straits Times index fell 16.00 points or 0.41% to 3914.64 points.

The total trading volume of the Singapore stock market was 39.61 million shares, with a total trading volume of 72.01 million yuan. There were 50 stocks rising and 67 stocks falling.

The sea index component stocks fell more and rose less. The biggest increase was HongKong Land, which rose 1.24% to US$5.73. Wilmar International fell the biggest, down 2.33% to 2.94 yuan.
