Preliminary investigation results of the Jota car accident: It is very likely that the tires and speeding are caused by the driver.
According to Spanish media Le Monde, the Spanish National Guard has completed a preliminary investigation into the cause of the Jota car accident, which may be caused by speeding and tire problems.
The National Guard of the Transport Brigade of the Zamora Command has determined that the most likely cause of the accident in Diogo Jota and his brother Andre Silva, as noted initially, was the tire problems of the vehicle and the speeding.
The transportation department is completing a technical report analysis of the accident. Investigators analyzed all signs. The fire of the vehicle after the accident greatly increased the complexity of the investigation.
However, on a road about 100 meters from the impact site and about 50 meters in length, the traces left by a tire on the asphalt pavement may play a decisive role in drawing these preliminary conclusions.
All tests conducted by the investigation team showed that the driver of the car was Diogo-Jota. According to Le Monde, it was the family who determined their identities and locations in the car through their personal belongings, because the fire had seriously damaged their bodies. The
investigation is still ongoing and although it may not involve any crime, the case has entered judicial proceedings. The investigation was conducted with the sole court of Puebla de Sanafria, and the person in charge was Judge Elena Ruvio Gonzalez.
