Parker: The media will only criticize Sheshko, but let go of Liverpool’s two strikers who cost hundreds of millions.

In an exclusive interview, former Manchester United defender Paul Parker talked about Sheshko's start at Manchester United, the pressure brought by his price, and criticized the way he was reported in the media, especially compared to Liverpool's new signing forward.
What do you think of the media criticism of Sheshko, especially compared to Liverpool's Isak and Ekitic?
"We saw how much Manchester United spent on him (note: 76.5 million euros), and everyone wanted to dig him out and criticize him, but they let go of the two Liverpool players who spent more than 100 million pounds."
Are you saying that the media has different standards for them?
"They were let off, the media said they needed time and were making excuses. Did they just get over this? Did they just get over that? No!"
You played under Sir Alex Ferguson and understand the pressure of defending champions.
"When you win a league title, the following season is even more important because you have to win it again."
What do you think of the defending champion's actions in the transfer market, such as Liverpool spending so much money?
"You have to come out firing. But one thing you can't do, you can't destabilize the team by going out and spending that much money."
