No door available! Sheffield Wednesday announces seven-day emergency loan deal for goalkeeper Joey Renley from Bristol City

English Championship club Sheffield Wednesday announced the signing of goalkeeper Joey Renley on an emergency loan from Bristol City for one week.
Sheffield Wednesday goalkeeper Horvath received a red card in last weekend's Championship game, while another goalkeeper Charles is currently injured. Therefore, Sheffield Wednesday loaned goalkeeper Joey Renley on an emergency basis for seven days.
The 30-year-old Joey Lenley is an England goalkeeper who came from the youth training of Queens Park Rangers and played 84 times for the team. He later played for several lower league teams. In 2021, Joey Renley moved to Middlesbrough and played 39 times for the team. He was loaned to Reading in the 2022-23 season, then moved to Southampton and participated in the Premier League. Joey Lenley joined Bristol City this summer.
After joining on loan, Joey Renley immediately started for Sheffield Wednesday in the Championship against Middlesbrough early this morning. In the end, Sheffield Wednesday lost 0-1 at home.
