Liverpool official: For four years, Robb Page served as the club s U21 coach
Liverpool officially announced that former Welsh coach Robb Page will serve as the club's U21 coach, and he will replace Barry Lewtas, who has coached for a long time at the club.
Robb Page is 50 years old and resigned from the position of Wales head coach in June 2024. During his four years of coaching Wales, Page led the team to the top 16 of the 2020 European Cup, and he also led the team to qualify for the 2022 World Cup. This is also the first time Wales has entered the World Cup since 1958. Prior to this, he coached at Port Vier and Northampton.
Robb Page has an 18-season player career. As a player trained by Watford youth training camp, he has played in more than 250 games for the team, which is almost half of his 550 appearances in his career. In the 1999-2000 season, he was named the team Player of the Year. Before retiring in 2011, he also played for Sheffield United, Cardiff City, Coventry, Huddersfield and other teams.
