Liverpool official: 22-year-old left-back Irving Bay renews his contract and leases to Derby County for one year

Liverpool officially announced that after the team's young left-back Irving Baker renewed a long contract, he loaned the Championship Derby County for one season.

Irving Baker has signed a new long-term contract with Liverpool and joined Derby County on loan for one season. The Welsh left-back is from Liverpool Youth Training Academy and has made three appearances for the first team. He will compete with Derby County in the 2025-26 Championship.

Last season, Baker played for the English Championship Blackburn on loan, with a total of 25 appearances, 24 of which were completed under the coaching of the current Derby coach Eustace. The 22-year-old has previously played for Portugal's Famalicon, Bolton and Dundee on loan.

According to Liverpool's team reporter, Baker's loan contract has no buyout clause.
