Eber: Bayern and Sane have not closed the door to renewal, but we will not be at the mercy of others
When Bayern's championship celebrations, Bayern sports director Ebert talked about Sane's contract renewal.
Sane's contract expired at the end of June this year, and has not yet renewed its contract with Bayern. Ebert first said: "We want to keep him, and I think Sane himself is willing to stay. I can't specifically evaluate how likely he is to stay in the end, but neither side has closed the door. Now we have to continue to study what is possible and what is impossible."
But Ebert also emphasized: "We will not be at the mercy of others, which is clear. We have a wish and we are working hard to achieve it. But if it cannot be achieved, we will choose another different path." It was reported that Bayern offered Sane an annual salary of 10 million euros + a bonus of 5 million, but Sane asked for an annual salary of 12 million + a bonus of 3 million.
Finally, Eber said: "I don't know if a decision will be made this week. But some contracts will not even be signed until July or August, because the players want to retain the possibility of other options."
