Bowen talks about conflict with fans: We all care about the club and hope to win the best results for the team

In an exclusive interview with talkSPORT, West Ham's Bowen talked about the unpleasant incidents he had with some fans after the team lost to Wolves. Despite being emotional at the time, Bowen said that the matter was over and neither side had any resentment.

The incident happened after West Ham United lost 2-3 to Wolves at Molyneux Stadium, part of their three-game losing streak this season. At the end of the game, Bowen and other West Ham players went to the visiting stands to greet the Expedition fans, but were insulted by some fans. Bowen tried to enter the stands, but was stopped by his teammates. After the game, Bowen issued an apology statement saying he was passionate about the club, which was the reason for his dispute with the fans. In an interview with talkSPORT reporter Fay Carusus, he said: "I will never escape anything. I will face the problem. This is the responsibility of being a captain, and it is also because I have been here for a long time. I care very much about this club, and so are the fans. We are all loyal and passionate, hoping to strive for the best results for the club."

Bowen also mentioned that although his performance at the beginning of the season was not satisfactory, he understood the emotions of the fans and hoped that the team could get out of the predicament as soon as possible. Bowen scored a goal against Nottingham Forest on Sunday to help the team win 3-0, which also allowed him to return to England to prepare for the upcoming World Cup qualifiers.

Speaking of communication with head coach Tuchel, Bowen revealed that he had a conversation with Tuchel after West Ham United lost 1-5 to Chelsea in August.

"I know that game was tough for us, we didn't talk much about why he chose me, he just hoped I could play at my level."

Although after the game against Wolves, it was rumored that Bowen might leave the team, everything returned to normal after Sunday's victory. Bowen scored a goal in the second half to help the team take the lead. Although the subsequent excellent opportunity was snatched away by new teammate Callum Wilson, the two finally shook hands and had fun after the game. Bowen and his supporters hope the victory will be a turning point in the team's season.
