Accused of destroying the lawn! Sun: Betinelli is complained about building parking space outside luxury home with £2 million

The Sun reported that Manchester City goalkeeper Bettinelli had another dispute with his neighbor over building a roadside parking space outside his £2 million mansion.

British media said that Bettinel directly paved the grass outside the house with asphalt without planning permission. Nearly six households have objected to this "visually invasive" renovation project. They also pointed out this as an "erosion of green landscapes" and were concerned that it would set a precedent for others to cover grasslands with concrete.

Betinelli said the parking space is located entirely within the boundary of his property with four bedrooms, a cinema and a game room and had applied for retroactive permission. But he still has the possibility of being banned by planners in the local council and being ordered to demolish unauthorized ground works.
