A dog is held by its owner like a baby. This is the wrong way to hold a dog and can easily lead to the dog biting!
A dog becomes petrified and dare not move after being hugged by its owner. This is actually quite dangerous! I mean the master is in danger!
The owner, Ms. Wang, has a bully dog. Although it looks like a strong man with muscles, it actually has a very cute and cute personality. It is the baby of the whole family.
On this day, the male owner held it in his arms like a baby. Unexpectedly, it turned to stone on the spot, and its limbs were stiff and did not dare to move at all. She didn't even have time to put her tongue back into her mouth, leaving a small part exposed which was very cute. The owner treats the dog like a baby, rocking it from side to side like a child. But the dog had a panicked look on his face, his eyes widened and he didn't dare to move at all, which made people on the side laugh. Everyone said that the man was not used to being held by the princess, so his whole body became rigid.

Although the whole picture looks very funny, there is danger hidden in it. This is what I have said many times before, one of the wrong ways to hold a dog.
1. Hug the dog like a child
The belly is the most vulnerable part of the dog. Holding the dog with its legs in the air will force the dog to expose its belly, making them very uneasy. If the owner continues to hold it and shake it, it will increase the sense of uneasiness. When the pressure of some dogs accumulates beyond the range they can bear, tragedy may occur. Just like the bully dog above, it has used its stiff body and tightly closed mouth to tell its owner "I don't like being held like this", but the owner didn't see it.
Previously at the Juxiaomeng Pet Behavior and Psychology Center, I saw an older aunt rocking and patting her dog like a grandchild. The dog's condition was also close to petrified, and he was too nervous to move at all. Although I explained to her that this way of holding the dog was inappropriate, it didn’t take long for her to hold the dog and rock it again. Maybe the habit of several years can’t be changed in a short time.

2. Pull the dog’s two front legs
Some people use this method when holding small dogs. This is very dangerous for dogs, especially small dogs whose leg bones are very thin and can easily be dislocated and fractured.
3. Hold the dog close to your face
Some girls see a cute dog on the street and can’t help but want to take a photo with it. Face-to-face photos that symbolize intimacy have become the first choice. But when facing a strange dog and you don’t know their temperament, rashly taking pictures with their faces may make the dogs afraid of biting them directly, and at this time, the face becomes the nearest target. If you don’t want to disfigure your face, don’t rush to take photos with your face when you meet a strange dog.
When the owner holds the dog close to his chest and touches his face, many people think this is a form of closeness, or think "I have hugged him well", but in fact, dogs are particularly prone to entering a protective state. If someone comes over and reaches out suddenly at this time, it is likely to bite it directly.
If it is a puppy, hold its chest with one hand and place it underneath. In this way, the dog will feel comfortable and will not enter a protective state and hurt people. As for the big dog, it’s already good enough to hold!
